PROJECT/ PRODUCTION TITLE: Relations

Production information: ·         Dates ·          Times ·          Brief description of the general content of production ·          equipment required ·         any additional requirements for production ·          any issue which may affect production in this location	We will start filming on the 10th December 2012. Starting time will be from 9 am. The production is a sitcom, set in a college, with 4 main college students, the main character is a girl called Emily and the audience view her everyday life and what she gets up to at college. Equipment required: Nikon D3100 camera, Tripod, camera charger, microphone charger, script , storyboard , glide track , headphones , clapper board, first aid kit. We can find all of these things at the media centre in college, and the first aid kit we shall provide ourselves. Additional requirements:   Costumes: however actors shall supply there own costumes, as it fits with the style of the character, the only costumes needed is star wars t-shirt in which I shall find , two pairs of glasses , hair gel , tracksuit bottoms , however these shall be very easy to find. There are no issues as we have asked permission from the library to film in there and the rest is in outdoor spaces. The only issue may be the weather on the day of filming. As we are filming in a public place we may have issues we members of the public walking through our shots , however this shall not effect our production to much as they are more then likely all going to be teenagers , so it will only add to the believability of our scene , however to prevent this from wrecking any of our scenes we shall speak to the near by people and kindly explain we are filming and could they try  their best not to be seen in the shot , or look at the camera.
Sound information: ·         Issues or potential problems(such as nearby unwanted noise) ·          sound test results ·         Additional/specific sound equipment required	We will check all area’s of filming and check all sounds near by , we are filming in a college where only the sound of students are most likely heard , and this fits in well with our sitcom , so background noise should not be a problem. Sound equipment:  Boom microphone, Rifle microphone
Power information: ·         how you will  supply power for equipment at this location?	By using power leads, and connecting them to the power supplies in college or make sure equipment is fully charged.
Access: ·         Permission granted ·         Booking confirmed ·         Public /private place ·         Issues which may affect access for production team or cast ·         How you will deal with potential issues	We are only filming two scenes inside the college, and we have asked the library and there have said its ok and have gave us permission to film inside. The second place is a class-room however we have asked a member of staff and they will book us a room to use.  Therefore there should be no issues which affect the production team and cast. If a member of our cast is ill we can easily find a new actor to step in, so this shall not be a problem. We shall make sure everything is sorted before the 10th of December to save any problems and also the time of the cast we have chosen.
Possible hazards: ·         What are the potential problems? particularly considering weather if outdoor? ·         how you will avoid or respond to them?	Hazards: If the weather was to snow, as this could affect the continuity of our clip. Therefore we must try and film all the same location scenes in one day, to prevent this problem. We shall work hard and quick as there are not many hours of day light in the winter. Health and safety issues: After looking around college there are many health and safety signs to do with fires, therefore if I fire was to break out while filming, all members of cast and crew will be informed where to go, we shall all meet outside of the college in the front car park, in which we shall do a head count. The likelihood of this happening is (VUL) however we must still plan in case.  One of our scenes consists of the character Emily getting trapped in a door, so we shall take this scene very seriously and make sure no one is hurt in this scene, and will always have a first aid kit on hand. Also when filming we will being using heavy equipment and cables which may fall on people, or cause people to trip. To prevent people from falling or getting harmed by the equipment, we shall inform all cast and crew before hand and be aware of the public around us. The likelihood of this happening is (p). The severity of these hazards are negligible and not to dangerous to the public or crew.
