Mise En Scene and Camera Shots of Programme (NEW)

This is a Mid Shot , Used to establish what it is the character is doing, allowing the audience to view i am reading a book , connoting my characters stereotype , or intelligence.  The audience can see the characters glasses , which connotes she is maybe a 'Geeky' Character. The lighting is high key giving a sense of the programme being a comedy , or a light hearted programme. The Character of Emily is wearing a green jacket , which links to the title and colour of the programme , connoting Emily as the protagonist of the programme. Or in Vladimir Propp 8 stock characters the ' Hero' of the story. 

A Mid shot , which is followed by Emily looking straight in forward of her , allowing the audience to view what Emily is looking at , this stops the audience from getting confused.  We allowed the actors to wear own clothes , as it fits with the image of the show , as they are playing characters of their age.

Wide Establishing Shot, As the Audience are being introduced to a new setting. This shot also includes the character of 'Tyler' , so that in the following shot , where the audience view Tyler , they do not get confused where he has came from. The lighting is still High key.

For this shot , we used a low angle , looking up to the character of Tyler , with an over the shoulder shot of Emily. This connotes Tyler's power over the character , as Emily is madly in love with him , also connoting his status in college , as he is a popular character. Tyler is wearing  a grey hoodie and jeans , adding to his cool overall appearance.

High Angle , Mid shot of Emily's reaction to Tyler speaking to her , allowing the audience to view her embarrassing and uncomfortable reply to Tyler. Shot -Reverse-Shot used to add continuity to the scene. Also Shot- reverse-shots are used commonly in Sitcom's , sticking to the conventions of a Sitcom.  

3 Shot , Long Mid shot of 3 characters sat in class room , both characters wearing black , so that Emily wearing green stands out to the audience , connoting she is the main character. White walls and high key lighting , adding to the light hearted atmosphere. In the shot the audience can view Emily Science book , emphasizing her ' Geeky' character.
