Charlotte Maguire:
Me and Sam both planned the focus group and split it into 2 sections. Section one being that with gave our 7 people taking part a question sheet , which had 7 questions on in which they had to fill out. The second section being we shown them 4 clips in which they answered questions about the clips they had watched. Therefore me and Sam split the results into 2, therefore my results are from the first sheet we gave them , which 7 questions. I display my results in graphs and then summarised the evidence I found. We asked a group of 7 teenagers as this fits in well with our target audience, we did this to find out what our audience want from a sitcom. I also filmed the focus group.
Geogrie Field:

Geogrie created surveys to find out what the target audience like and dislike about sitcoms , she also found out what they would like in a new sitcom. By her doing this we were able to find out what audiences wanted. She then linked this to the codes and conventions of a sitcom.
Louis created a poll asking people what they like about sitcoms to be centered around. By doing this she was able to find out people like sitcoms to be based round friends. therefore this will help to group when creating of a narrative and also the characters involved.
Sam Evans:
Sam also created and held the focus group , he then analysed the second half of the questions we asked in the focus group. By doing this it helped the group to get a better understand of what the audience find funny , aswell as the narrative most popular with our target audience.
